Species at Risk Film Screening & Dialogue (Vancouver, BC)

Did you know that British Columbia has no stand-alone provincial law to protect species at risk?

Join Sustainable SFU, the SFU Wildlife Conservation Club, and the Wilderness Committee for a film screening and panel discussion to learn about the threats facing BC's endangered species...and find out what you can do to help.

We'll be showing a series of short films featuring some of BC's most unique and charismatic endangered wildlife -- including the American badger, barn swallow, Oregon spotted frog and the phantom orchid.

Speakers on the panel include:

- Dick Cannings, Biologist
- Gwen Barlee, Wilderness Committee Policy Director
- Isabelle Groc, Wilderness Committee BC Species at Risk Outreach Coordinator
- Mike McKinlay, Videographer
- Leslie Hurteau, SFU Wildlife Conservation Club
- Tesicca Truong, Sustainable SFU

Where: Fletcher Challenge Theatre, Room 1900
SFU Harbour Centre (515 W. Hastings St.)
