BurlingtonGreen invites all citizens to participate in our Community Clean Up Green Up event from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday April 26th, 2014 (with school & business clean-ups from April 21 to 25th). By combining technology, social awareness, and art, their friends from Litterati have been tackling the ever-escalating problem of litter on streets and parks digitally and on a global scale. The Dundas EcoPark provides a vast amount of green space, which can contribute to a healthier, happier, and more connected community.  Green space often serves as a social “middle-ground” where all citizens, regardless of their social standing, can enjoy their free time in community. In the absence of this area of green space, Hamilton would lose an important avenue for relaxation, social gathering, and an escape from city-life.
