Originally from Toronto, Brynna is currently completing her BSc degree in Environmental Practice from Royal Roads University, with a previous degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University. Though it happened later than she liked, her eyes to the gravity of the climate crisis were opened as a result of the global climate strikes in 2019. Ever since, she has been determined to research and work in areas around intersectional environmentalism, climate justice, climate policy, and ecosystem and community health. She is currently devoted to working as the Remote Climate Coordinator for Youth Climate Lab, volunteering as the Chair of the Sierra Youth Executive Committee, and writing for the Starfish Journal. At Sierra Youth Executive Committee, she is overseeing the development and creation of a podcast, entitled “10 Minutes to Change,” to inspire youth-led change through environmental education in just 10 minutes.
