Time Commitment: For June to August 2022: We require you to write at least one article every month
Join our Team of Writers for The Starfish Canada’s Youth Journal!
The Starfish Canada’s Youth Journal provides a platform for budding writers to craft evidence-based articles, along with personal stories and essays, for our national audience of environmentalists, leaders, changemakers, educators, students, and climate-action oriented folks. We produce content on topics related to anything about environmentalism and the sustainability movement; from old-growth logging, to sustainable fashion, to ocean conservation, and more.
This summer, we are super excited to begin welcoming alternative forms of content into our journal as well; from poems, to drawings and graphics, to photography and video, if you have something more than just written material to share, we want to see it!
Moving forward, we are working towards a more unified voice and engaged team of writers here at The Starfish Canada. If you are passionate about sustainability and have writing chops, we encourage you to apply!
