The In-Vitro Meat Debate

With new and exciting innovations comes new questions about science, technology and ethics. This workshop explores those conflicts in a safe setting that welcomes critique and critical thinking from participants.Here, we have pre-selected the issue of in-vitro meat (the creation of meat in the laboratory setting) to walk through the process. Students are separated into two groups and present their arguments for/against the idea of in-vitro meat, followed by a discussion that welcomes all participants to reflect on different viewpoints brought up in the discussion.
